IDEX is a place where you can apply your existing skills and learn new ones in an environment where you can make an impact.The Finance Director of IDEX Health & Science Platform is responsible for overall management, direction, and integrity of the cost and inventory functions of the accounting, finance, systems, and financial reporting systems for IDEX Health & Science Platform.The Director actively partners with the Finance Vice President, Operations Vice President, Supply Chain Vice President, Site Leaders, and the LSF/LSO Finance leaders in the planning, direction, and policy making for the Platform’s inventory, cost & operational financial activities.The Director provides direction, management and oversight of the Cost & Inventory & Ops FP&A teams to implement and lead initiatives across the manufacturing sites to improve, automate, and simplify current accounting and reporting processes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBuild and lead an aggressive monthly business rhythm, providing accurate financial results and forecast updates to Corporate, LSF/LSO P&L owners, Site Operations & Supply Chain teams.Review and summarize monthly inventory and cost position of multiple plants.Responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and support of strategic planning for inventory, cost & all operational KPIs.Responsible for asset preservation and working capital management, specifically inventory & AP.Develop and implement a robust internal control framework and ensure compliance throughout the organization.Partner with the Vice President of Operations in managing the manufacturing unit’s efficiency, productivity and inventory velocity.Lead and/or participate in special projects and assignments.Assure that performance feedback/reviews for both direct and indirect reports are performed on a formal and informal basis.JOB QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Accounting or Finance and/or MBA required.Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible accounting and leadership experience.Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and implementing accounting and financial reporting standards.Five years or more accounting experience in cost/supply chain in a manufacturing environment.Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Advanced PC/ERP/Hyperion experience.Superior verbal and written communication skills.Interpersonal QualificationsActs with humility and seeks guidance.Builds effective teams focused on execution.Strategic thinker who grasps complex issues.Customer focus oriented to solving challenges.Are you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?IDEX is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Affirmative Action Employer.Attention Applicants:
