Position Title: Dream Team Coordinator
Department: Spiritual Formations

Reports To: Connections Director
Position Purpose:
The purpose of the Dream Team Coordinator at Journey Church is to provide high-level leadership to the Volunteer Connections teams while looking after our AWE (Authentic, Warm, Excellent) experience from the street to seat through Discover. In addition, this role is responsible for connecting people to our engagement pathways and helping them take their next step as part of Journey Church. Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to your Campus Connections volunteer team by consistently championing the vision and values of Journey Church. Those teams consist of Parking, Greeter, Usher, Guest Services, Cafe, VST & Discover. Execute our connections strategy and lead the team to create an AWE experience for weekend services and campus events. Actively build relationships on campus that will allow you to recruit, develop, equip leaders and care for the Connections Dream Team. Provide leadership and direction to all Connections Volunteer teams. Maintain and provide timely follow-up to campus-specific Dream Team and Connections workflows. Ensure all purchasing items are ordered, delivered, and set for your teams at your campus. Provide Necessary scheduling and communication to all Connection Teams at your campus. Provide and maintain accurate metrics for your campus specific Dream Team and Connections Ministries. Work with the Connections Director to lead volunteer trainings throughout the year. Lead volunteer teams to ensure environments are set and ready for weekend services. Perform other duties as assigned. Sunday Responsibilities:
Providing leadership to the Volunteer Connections team, this includes preparing resources, and environments, leading huddle, providing clarity, direction and vision for the day. This position acts as the mayor of the lobby. This means connections with guests and volunteers 15 minutes prior to service and 10 minutes following service. Track Sunday metrics and report to Connections Director by 2:00 PM. Oversee the entire First Impression experience at your perspective campus. Provide care to the Volunteer Connections team for the recruiting, onboarding, and orientation of new Connections Dream Team Members Qualifications / Experience:
Minimum of 1-year experience in ministry or church vocational work is required. Strong communicator and interpersonal skills. Must have attended Discover. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong relational skills and the ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Highly adaptive self starter, with a willingness to serve and go the extra mile. Organized; flexible; able to Multitask. Passion for welcoming people into the church and helping them connect with God and others. Spiritual Criteria:
Professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Commitment to personal spiritual growth. Models standards and expectations of leaders within Journey Church. Aligns with Journey's spiritual beliefs and staff values. Spiritually mature: models the lifestyle of a passionate follower of Jesus. Must attend Journey Church. Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for the supervision of the Dream Team members.
