Job Overview: Principal, Tech PM provides consultation to business unit and IT project management and strategies. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge, particularly in infrastructure and security. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Helps define project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project milestone estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Documents process flows and serves as a strong facilitator in meetings. Acts as a resource for direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff. Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication. Handles the most complex IT projects. Coordinates with users to determine requirements. Provides weekly status updates and guidance to leadership for the Infrastructure and Security teams. Responsibilities: Provides consultation to business unit and IT project management and strategies. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge, particularly in infrastructure and security, Network Segmentation, Security Architecture, Application Planning, AI, Cloud, Privileged Access Management. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Helps define project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, milestone estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Facilitates discussions with technical teams to understand the current state and to help document goal state. Provide capital and expense budget planning adjusting priorities on a quarterly basis based on business objectives. Leading program and project management of large-scale information security and infrastructure development and transformation projects. Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of ITSM practices, CHG Management and Release Management modules in Service Now. Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of CMDB, Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Business Portfolio Management (BSM) in Service Now. Conducting Executive Leadership and Stakeholder meetings and presentation creation. Experience and ability to work with several feature teams, third party vendor management to include negotiation of SOWs prior to submission to NT. Lead implementation teams to ensure quality, completeness and timeliness of solution delivery. Documents process flows and serves as a strong facilitator in meetings. Required Skills and Experience: Experienced, functional expert with technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise. Specialized knowledge of IT projects and processes, good consultative skills, strong analytical ability and ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff, to include 3rd party vendors. Experience in support and facilitation of all aspects of an IT project, i.e. requirements gathering, configuration, user training, implementation, and deployment. Ability to work with third party vendors to include management, SOW negotiation and facilitation for approval. Manage all aspects of ITSM practices to include CHG Management and Release Management modules in Service Now. Experience in IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow for incident change management. Ensure CMDB, Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Business Portfolio Management (BSM) in Service Now for the area. Extensive experience with forecast and budget planning and management for complex initiatives across multiple teams and vendors. Experience and knowledge with Information Security and Infrastructure technologies such as CyberArk, Security Architecture, Application planning, AI, Cloud, Privileged Access Management, Network Segmentation. Process documentation and visualization of workflows using Visio or similar software. Experience in migrating IT teams to new technologies and systems. Creating training documentation and demos for large user bases. Conduct or facilitate training sessions as needed. Strong analytical skills needed to analyze and evaluate technical information and coordinate projects. Strong communication, technical teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline or related experience as a project team member, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. At least 10 years of experience in information technology in the financial industry. Preferred Experience: Providing white-glove technical support. Using Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, or equivalent project management systems. Segmenting privileged user activities from non-privileged user activities. Creating and archiving documentation in a repository, such as SharePoint or Confluence. Collecting feedback or stakeholder test evidence through TMM Modules in Service Now and Network and Infrastructure project experience.
