An R&D expert with an in-depth understanding of how business, technology and operations intersect. You’ve got the know-how to help our biopharmaceutical and/or biotechnology clients design, build and deploy solutions to help them get the right therapies to patients faster. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Help clients, and other organizations in the broader healthcare ecosystem, get the right therapies to patients faster
Assess and improve R&D processes and their underlying technology platforms
Provide R&D technology subject matter expertise in areas such as EDC, CDMS, RIM, etc.
Advise clients on how they can shape the next generation of technology capabilities to become data-driven, AI enabled organizations
Typical projects consist of definition of a IT roadmap, assessment of current technology footprint and/or design and implementation of R&D systems to achieve a desired future state.
Build relationships with client stakeholders that help Accenture become a trusted partner
Coach junior team members
Spot and pursue business development opportunities
Develop Accenture’s thought leadership in sales, marketing, and customer experience
Qualifications:
At least five years of experience in technology consulting and the life sciences R&D industry in at least one of the following areas: research, clinical development, pharmacovigilance, regulatory, medical affairs, MD&D (medical device and diagnostics), EBP (evidence based practice), medtech, or related areas such as CROs, health institutions, health technology companies, etc.
Minimum 3 years of experience leading, consulting for or supporting R&D technology programs for biopharma/biotech.
A Bachelor’s degree

Your Bachelor’s degree has a major in science or health engineering
You have a deep understanding of biopharmaceutical R&D and product lifecycle processes and technologies
You have experience working with and/or leading teams, clients and vendors using your exceptional team building, mentoring, people development and management skills
You have experience working with Life Sciences R&D professionals applying excellent client-facing communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
You work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, and apply structure to your problem solving
Compensation at Accenture
varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
