This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of employment litigation matters, including wage and hour class actions, while also providing support for transactional employment work. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in employment litigation and a strong desire for trial work, alongside a solid background in counseling employers and managing employment-related disputes.Duties:Represent clients in wage and hour class action lawsuits, handling all stages of litigation.Draft and negotiate employment agreements, severance packages, and other contractual documents.Prepare responses to EEOC position statements and DFEH inquiries.Conduct witness interviews, depositions, and discovery efforts to support case preparation.Advise employers on federal and state employment law compliance, including workplace policies and employment training programs.Assist in drafting and implementing strategies to address employee relations issues and labor management matters.Collaborate with a team of professionals to provide strategic counsel to clients in employment law cases.Manage a caseload efficiently while ensuring high-quality legal service and timely case progression.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on employment litigation and class action cases.Significant experience defending wage and hour claims and participating in class action lawsuits.Experience drafting employment-related agreements and handling EEOC and DFEH responses.Background in transactional employment work and conducting witness interviews and depositions.Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and the ability to counsel clients on compliance matters.Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills.California Bar admission is required.Experience in traditional labor relations is a plus.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar is required.Skills:Strong litigation and trial preparation skills, with experience in class actions.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to manage complex caseloads and work independently.Proficient in drafting legal documents, including employment agreements, policies, and regulatory responses.Strong negotiation skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and opposing counsel.Knowledge of labor relations and federal and state employment law compliance.Hybrid remote work schedule available.Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Paid time off and holidays.Discretionary bonuses and incentive programs based on performance.
