Anthropic is seeking a Brand Communications Manager to join our Communications team. In this role, you'll shape how one of the world's leading AI companies shows up across the internet.
This is not a traditional position.
You'll need to blend deep technical understanding with creative storytelling—crafting memorable moments that resonate across different corners of the internet. You'll develop
novel
approaches for
product launches , ideate on campaigns that help people understand the
frontier of AI capabilities , and architect
unexpected ways
to showcase our research.
Reporting to the Brand Strategy Lead, you'll work closely with researchers and product teams to deeply understand our technology and craft narratives that matter. You will have significant autonomy. In this role, you'll help ensure Claude—and by extension Anthropic—continue to show up in ways that are both technically sophisticated and culturally resonant.

Responsibilities
Shape creative campaigns that help technical and non-technical audiences understand AI capabilities
Work with our product team, researchers, and marketers to create novel approaches to showcase our research and technical advances
Build and nurture our presence in key technical communities and AI watering holes on the internet
Create and manage scalable systems for social sentiment monitoring and reporting
Build playbooks that anticipate and address user needs
Partner with incident response teams
You may be a good fit if you have:
5+ years of experience in online communications, ideally at a high-growth technology company
Strong technical aptitude—able to grasp AI concepts and engage meaningfully with technical audiences
Deep understanding of how different online spaces and technical communities work
Willingness to become a Claude expert
Ability to make sound judgment calls under pressure
Meticulous writing skills and instinct for tasteful narrative
Bias for action and autonomy in fast-moving situations
Experience creating engaging and successful product launches
