Axon’s rapid growth (domestically and internationally) has led to the need for a dynamic leader who can lead the effort to implement new process and technology in Finance and Accounting. Your problem-solving skills, business acumen and technical expertise will come into play as you find effective ways to bring technology to bear on our processes. What You'll DoLocation:

Remote Presence based at near US Hubs - Scottsdale, Seattle, Boston, Washington, DC, Denver, San Francisco, or Atlanta - Ability to come on-site if neededReports to: SVP, FP&A

You will collaborate with senior finance and accounting leaders to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.You will design effective business process solutions that support growth, improved customer experience and strong internal controls.You will partner to solve business problems by translating business requirements into technological and process improvement solutions.You will develop and communicate the vision and roadmap for improvements related to Finance and Accounting, determining what functionality is prioritized and implemented.You will help drive the selection, customization, and implementation of financial systems.You will negotiate and communicate with various stakeholders to ensure organizational alignment on architecture, solutions and approach.You will drive the adoption of best practices in financial data management, reporting, and analytics.You will ensure effective organizational change management practices are employed to enhance financial systems.You will foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.You will establish milestones and deliverables and monitor adherence to schedule delivery at the milestone/deliverable level.You will coordinate user interactions for project activities, including requirements, testing and validation.What You Bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field10+ years of experience in finance/accounting and IT/systems, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleProven track record of designing and implementing complex financial systems in a fast-paced environmentDeep understanding of ERP systems, financial reporting, and compliance requirementsSpecific experience with Dynamics 365, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, Vertex, and/or Aptitude RevStream is preferredStrong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levelsStrategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on continuous improvementExperience in the technology industry, particularly in a company that sells hardware, software, and servicesSuccessful experience with business process modeling and mapping requirements to technologyExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate business impact of design, dependencies and processDemonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with others, lead actions, and adapt to changeSelf-starter with a track record of success in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentAbility to challenge the status quo to drive resultsBenefits that Benefit You

The starting base pay for this role is between USD 175,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 215,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
