This is a transformative opportunity, the chance to be at the vanguard of a program that will revolutionize Prime Video, and the live streaming experience for customers everywhere. In this role, you will work across our distributed engineering team in building a wide variety of services from flexible Live Sports publishing platform that integrates with the broader Prime Video ecosystem to low-latency, high-TPS services that impact the discovery experience on a wide variety of devices.What will you do?You will own and drive product features partnering with SDMs in our Seattle, WA, Austin, TX, and Arlington, VA teams.You'll collaborate with Prime Video teams including Catalog, Commerce, Offers, X-Ray, Prime Video Channels, Store Front Automation, devices and more.You will look around corners, anticipate bottlenecks, and use technical judgment to land complex programs for our business.You will also influence and shape how we execute and help drive velocity with high quality.This role involves regular communication with senior, director, and VP level management on project status and risks, broad cross-team coordination on project execution, creating effective project management strategies to meet deliverables and organize teams, and regular updates to Critical Program Reviews and other reporting mechanisms.If you are excited about leading complex programs, solving hard problems, and leading positive change, this is the team to be on.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of technical product or program management experience3+ years of software development experience5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experienceExperience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience building and evaluating system-level technical designExperience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmapsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experienceExperience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadershipAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
