Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Brand Manager to help shape and communicate the vision and mission of our cannabis brands. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis, coupled with a proven track record in brand management. This role involves developing marketing strategies, executing campaigns, and overseeing brand and product copy to ensure consistency across the portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, cultivation, and sales, to ensure all brands are fully supported. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Brand Vision & Strategy Shape and communicate the company’s vision and mission across internal and external audiences. Develop strategies that promote brand growth and expansion. Oversee brand and product copy to ensure alignment with tone and messaging. Track industry trends, including new flavors, products, and brands, to keep our brands competitive and innovative. Develop customer demographic profiles to ensure campaigns and products target the right audiences. Analyze consumer behavior and brand performance to identify growth opportunities. Campaign Development & Execution Develop go-to-market strategies for new and existing brands and products. Manage monthly marketing calendars to ensure timely execution of campaigns. Work with the creative team to create marketing assets like signage, billboards, and educational materials. Retail & Wholesale Support Ensure that all products have the necessary marketing assets to support retail and wholesale channels. Create product decks to educate internal teams and external partners. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Brand and Cultivation leadership to manage strain selections for operations and retail. Work closely with the New Product group to strategize product development and launches. Assist in managing social media, press relations, and brand partnerships to maximize engagement. Performance Tracking & Reporting Measure and report campaign performance, including ROI and KPIs, for continuous improvement. Create monthly brand reports showcasing new launches, campaign ROI, brand ambassador performance, and key growth metrics. Use data and consumer insights to set objectives and drive volume. Leadership & Team Development Mentor and coach the Asset Coordinator on key projects, preparing them for future management roles. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field required. 2 years of business experience, with CPG experience preferred. 1 year in the cannabis industry (marketing, product, or cultivation experience is a plus). 2-3 years of brand management, trade marketing, or innovation experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong storytelling ability with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strategic thinker with the ability to devise creative solutions to complex problems. Experience in managing the development of written content and ensuring alignment with brand messaging. Passion for innovation and finding new ways to engage consumers. Deep knowledge about market research, analytics, and consumer behavior Strong research skills and works well in cross- functional, fast paced environments Strong product acumen and knowledge of cannabis products. Must be 21 and pass required background checks. Must comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
