Maintenance Manager

Please note: Only candidates with concrete products manufacturing experience are being considered at this time for the role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of a concrete paver plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant maintenance specific to the concrete paver industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role. In addition to expertise in electrical and PLC repair, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining equipment to optimize production. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment and facilities, including mixers, conveyors, and other machinery involved in concrete paver production. Electrical Expertise: Lead and perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on equipment; oversee PLC programming and repair to ensure smooth, uninterrupted production. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance team members, ensuring team efficiency, adherence to safety standards, and high-performance output. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, extend equipment lifespan, and maximize productivity. Budget Management: Manage maintenance budget, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions are utilized without compromising on quality or safety. Safety Compliance: Promote a safe work environment, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, equipment reliability, and maintenance efficiency; recommend and implement changes to enhance production. Software: Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance activities, including planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting. Qualifications: Please note: Only candidates with concrete products manufacturing experience are being considered at this time for the role Experience: Minimum 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience in a concrete paver or similar manufacturing environment. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of plant equipment and maintenance requirements in the concrete industry, including electrical troubleshooting and PLC repair. Education: Associate’s degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues. Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage the maintenance team and collaborate with other departments.
