Trusts & Estates Paralegal or Legal Assistant

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a well known boutique law firm in downtown Boston that is seeking a Trust & Estates Paralegal or Legal Assistant with at least 2 years of experience to join their team. Candidate must be a dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment. Volunteers to assist with overflow assignments. Exhibits a positive, supportive attitude at all times. Ability to act independently and make decisions within the scope of the position's responsibilities. Responsibilities: Document production including typing, editing and proofreading letters and legal documents Entering and editing attorneys' and/or paralegal's time entries Processing and delivering client bills via mail or through email on a monthly basis File management and organization (both digital and paper) Maintaining client contacts and coordinating timekeeper calendars Serve as a witness and/or Notary Public at client signing of original documents Additional responsibilities as requested Qualifications: 2 years of supporting Trust & Estates/Tax law practice Must be proficient in MS Office Suite software (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Working knowledge of automated time keeping and billing system. PerfectLaw experience a plus but not required. Ability to work overtime as may be required. This firm has a phenomenal culture with little to no turnover. This position is in-office and very generous compensation plus profit sharing, bonus and full benefits. This is HYBRID position.
