**Job Description**GENERAL PURPOSEEnsure empty cases are available to production departments to meet production schedules and provide assistance to shipping by moving trailers as requested and according to established Company policies and procedures.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain and clean all equipment in assigned areaSlide case stacks from truck using milk hook or pallet jack as appropriateEnsure conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases to prevent production delaysConfirm empty case area is full of cases at end of shift to help next shift with production runCorrectly prioritize which truck to empty first based on input from supervisors, yard drivers, or othersContinuously scan the area and straighten up to reduce trip and slip hazardsSpot broken or otherwise unusable cases and remove them to the designated areaHandle returned and truck inventory product as instructedEnsure trailers are unloaded and washed in a timely and efficient manner while keeping dock doors closed at all times when not in useEnsure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required informationEnsure all required information is documented in accordance with SOPsUtilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processesReport any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediatelyMaintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issuesFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
