POSITION SUMMARY

The Reverse Logistics Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving ongoing improvements within current and future reverse logistics systems and workflows based on department direction identified by senior leadership. This role involves identifying areas of improvement, supporting departmental growth, and acting as the main point of contact for related inquiries.

Collaborate with the IR Specialist and/or leadership to define and understand optimal parameters and workflows for integration and returns processes done through our internal Inventory Recovery systems.Evaluate and document data findings to identify opportunities for improvements and determine the best course of action. Systems include Inventory Recovery, Item Issues, and IDSDevelop and maintain internal tracking logs to monitor and assess the success of implemented updates in current and future systems.Work closely with the Reverse Logistics Manager to address both current and future integration and Reverse Logistics needs.Facilitate cross-training and information sharing with internal departments as needed to enhance collaboration and knowledge.Partner with Reverse Logistics leadership to support team goals and ensure alignment with company values in the returns processes.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a continuous improvement role; experience working with a large group of non-exempt employees preferredExperience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understandingDemonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligenceCustomer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectationsAbility to work off-shift as required to respond to urgent needsLANGUAGE SKILLS

This role may work in an office setting and/or telecommute from home. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel may be required to other locations in the region and periodic travel to other sites.

Remote work qualifications
