Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated EDI Analyst to join our team and bring best practices and continuous improvement to our EDI operations. This role will analyze and implement customer requirements, manage new trading partner onboarding, and champion EDI improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong EDI background in a manufacturing environment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to efficiently manage projects and implementations.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport EDI operations in a large scale, global manufacturing environment.Identify, analyze, and diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, developers, third-party vendors, and the userbase) to carry out customer requirement changes and new trading partner setups.Provide, develop, and deliver end-user training including presentations and materials.Meet with customers to establish and maintain strong relationships with EDI personnel to ensure invoices and ASNs are being processed properly.Maintain detailed documentation of EDI processes, specifications, common issues, and resolutions.Manage EDI projects, including requirements gathering, documentation of processes, resource management, testing, and implementation.Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide enhancements accordingly.Design and track KPIs to ensure EDI is sent and received effectively with as few issues as possible.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology or similar field preferred.Proven experience implementing EDI changes based on customer and/or vendor specifications.Extensive experience with common SCM EDI document types (810, 820, 830, 850, 856, 862, 866)Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to troubleshoot complex systems and process issues.Excellent communication skills to interface with stakeholders at all levels.Strong manufacturing background with 5+ years' experience managing EDI projects.Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects and activities.Experience with IBM Sterling, SPS/Data Masons, True Commerce, or Infor AutoRelease is a plus.
