Yes, with at least 2-years’ ICUexperience and Cerner (EMR) experiencePatient Types:Critical Care, Surgical – Heart failure, COPD, post-op GI, colon resection, fem-pop, carotids, vascular surgeries (no open heart, no neuro, no traumas)Patient Ratios: 1:2; 1:3 (rare)Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS requiredSkills required: Vent maintenance, Trach care, chest tube, A-line, medication titrationSupport on the Unit:CNA (Ratio): 1:12Receptionist/HUC: Yes, days onlyCharge nurse: Yes, occasionally in assignment depending on staffingPhlebotomy: YesIV/VAT Team: YesHospitalist: YesIntensivist: YesTelemetry monitoring tech? Are RNs required to read/measure tele strips?
