The

Brand Manager

leads the development and implementation of marketing plans that drive corporate volume and profitability objectives. They report to the Vice President, Marketing and work with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and execute marketing plans that support the fast growth of our diverse businesses. They are the link between our sales, finance, operations, and our in-house agency teams (Creative, Insights, Media, and Public Relations).

We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday. Our office is located in Los Angeles, CA 90064.

Job DescriptionDrive planning and execution of marketing programs to drive strategic objectives.Launch new products from ideation to commercialization, including the briefing, development, packaging graphics, print production, product formulation and more.Manage day-to-day operations of several ongoing cross-functional initiatives/projects.Use advanced understanding of data sources to translate insights into action.Work with Wonderful's in-house creative agency to define creative, media, and PR strategies, providing direction for our marketing/creative campaigns related to new product launches.Develop integrated, multi-media marketing creative briefs and manage integrated campaigns.Manage campaign media plan ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective execution.Provide thought leadership in developing practical solutions to complex quantitative and qualitative problems.Present marketing recommendations and plans to senior management and cross-functional teams.Assist in the onboarding, training and development of team members.Continuously manage and optimize a SKU portfolio. Recommend additions and discontinuations based on business objectives and consumer trends.Develop consumer and retailer-specific marketing programs to support new SKU launches.Build strong relationships within the sales organization to maximize impact of SKU level programs and sales support initiatives; assesses and build business solutions from a marketing perspective.Develop trade marketing materials for new SKU launches working with our in-house creative agency.Manage new product development efforts and launch new products, developing strategies and liaising with executive level management team.Drive international category planning, including product launches, and market growth activities.Qualifications

6+ years' relevant marketing experience or MBA + 3+ years' relevant marketing experience.CPG experience required.Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.Experience in international markets a plus.Displays strategic thought leadership and intellectual curiosity.Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving abilities with the ability to translate insights to action, spot trends, and read-out recommendations to senior management.Strong verbal, presentation, and written skills, including creative briefs and the ability to articulate an informed perspective.Strong project management skills and executional excellence that showcases attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.Understanding of the following areas: eCommerce, packaging, advertising, promotions, merchandising, media, social media, point-of-sale marketing.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade others.Experience working with syndicated data, preferably IRI or ACNielsen.Cross-functional collaboration and relationship building skills.Expert in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.Pay Range: $135,000-$150,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
