Job purpose
Likwifier is currently looking for an Electrical and Mechanical Assembler to join our growing team! Come join us as we offer our customers more than 100 years of combined experience in the food processing industry.
This role is responsible for building Likwifier products with an emphasis placed on quality and safety. Our most successful team members enjoy using a variety of skills throughout their days at work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Gather parts specified by work orders. Field wire and test control panels, in our shop, utilizing schematics and ladder diagrams. Assemble tight tolerance machinery utilizing blueprints. Trouble shoot electrical and mechanical issues. Focus on safety and quality while performing work. Work with engineering and management to resolve discrepancies. Perform other duties as assigned to help the rest of the Ensight team. Qualifications
Education
High school diploma preferred; some college preferred. 2 years of relevant work experience. Specialized Knowledge and Experience
Experience with electrical wiring, mechanical and plumbing assembly. Understanding of safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Knowledge on how to read blueprints and translate work orders. Must have a strong attention to detail. Requires the capacity to think outside the box to solve problems and find opportunities for improvement.
