Tech-savvy/ AI experience
Ideal candidate: has experience in clinical development and application of generative/deep learning models to patient data. Needs to be fluent in R or Python and familiar with DevOps tools. Experience in analysis of DNA-seq/exome sequencing, RNA-seq/gene expression, and high-throughput proteomics data. Must be prepared to undergo an R/python programming screen and a 45 min presentation for interview process.
Would be great if candidate has a Git Hub listed on resume so they can see the workers' coding examples and style of work.
The Precision Medicine (PMed) department at Client is looking for a highly motivated Data Scientist with expertise in the development of deep learning, generative, and predictive signatures from multi-omics and multi-modal biomarker data to enable clinical biomarker discovery and development.
Day to Day Responsibilities:• Implement in-house library of clinically relevant multi-omic immunological signatures of activation, exhaustion, proliferation, and inflammation and assess their relationship with mechanisms of action and resistance.• Serve as a subject matter expert and implementation lead for application of pre-trained and internally fine-tuned foundational and generative models to Amgen's clinical trial data systems.• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders in Research and Development to comprehensively catalog large pathway collections and promising literature-based gene expression signatures across Amgen-relevant therapeutic areas.• Interface cross-functionally with early development, assay laboratories, in-vitro diagnostics, and biomarker representatives to drive omics-based biomarker development.• Use cutting edge machine learning and artificial intelligence methodologies to develop biomarkers of clinical response and resistance.
