Responsibilities:
1. Creates an exciting guest service culture by instilling professional, friendly, quick and exceptional service to internal/external guests. Resolves guest concerns or complaints in a timely manner in order to maintain positive guest relations.
2. Coordinates with other departments to ensure open communication and the successful implementation of promotions, projects or other activities for Elements.
3. Submits activity reports and monitors operational performance to budget; initiates actions to optimize opportunities or correct unfavorable variances.
4. Supervises and delegates effectively; assigns expectations/responsibilities; takes appropriate supervisory action when superior or inferior performance is recognized.
5. Interviews and recommends employment or personnel, ensures proper scheduling and staffing levels under varying business conditions.
6. Guides and/or participates in the development of training programs that establish, measure, and nurture skills required to perform the work. Maintains knowledge of management, marketing, and F&B technological advancements within the industry.
7. Must keep accurate and current records of employee's attendance, evaluations, and disciplinary actions per policy.
8. Ensures compliance with gaming policies, rules and regulations, tribal laws, state or federal regulations; establish and enforce controls to protect the casino and Nation's assets.
9. Thorough knowledge/understanding of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; policies, procedures, laws, regulations and beverage services.
10. Accounts for front of house food & beverage inventories and portion control, maintains par levels as specified. Supervises labor cost and cost of sale.
11. Ensure the safety and security of team members and guest. Promotes and exhibits responsible alcohol service, sales and consumption.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma required
EXPERIENCE• 1-2 year supervisory experience in full service food and beverage operation• Must have working knowledge of Oklahoma Health Department codes• Must have a working knowledge of the Oklahoma Liquor Laws.• Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety procedures and/or a Serve Safe Certification.• Must have operational knowledge of micro software P.O.S. (Point of Sales System) and other office software, preferably Microsoft Word and Excel, Quest and any computer software applicable to the Food and Beverage Industry.• Skilled in conducting staff meetings and independent training.• Casino experience preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
MCN OPG Gaming License is required.
Key positions must have application and knowledge of Title 31 reporting requirements.
Tulsa County Food Handler's Card is required for all F&B positions.
Liquor License from the Able Commission is also required for F&B front of house positions.
Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check, drug test, and obtain gaming license as required.
