The University of Missouri School of MedicineDepartment of MedicineDivision of Hematology OncologyAsst/Assoc/Full Professor of Medicine - MelanomaThe University of Missouri's Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology and MU Health Care are seeking hematology-oncology candidates at the Assistant Professor level or higher, with experience and/or interest in specializing in melanoma and/or sarcoma.

As part of the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center and the NextGen Precision Medicine Initiative, candidates with interest in clinical and translational research find an integrative network of clinicians and researchers to provide high-quality patient care and state-of-the-art therapies to Missouri. They will be part of cutting-edge world-class research and have access to the most novel biomedical technologies. Ellis Fischel Cancer center and MU Health recently launched their Cell Therapy and BMT program, which will provider opportunity to expand into cellular therapy for solid tumors both on standard of care and on clinical trials.

Fellowship program consisting of 10 fellows

2 Ph.D. faculty6 APPsDedicated cancer hospital, Ellis Fischel Hospital, located within the main University Hospital campus.Hospital Call: 7 to 8 weeks per yearClinical Trials: Roughly 45-50 clinical trials are being conducted at any given time with increases expected with continued development.Competitive base salary starting at $400K with productivity incentiveHiring bonuses available and include student loan repayment assistance, stipends for highly qualified fellows willing to commit earlyQualifications:

MD/DOABIM BC/BE Internal Medicine and Hematology OncologyExperience in, or interest in specializing in, breast oncologyCommitment to continuous development and growth of clinical services, clinical teaching activities, and/or research.Rank commensurate with experience. All ranks available (assistant, associate, full professor)Preferred Qualifications:• Basic science research experience or interest, optional• Clinical Trial experience / aspiring clinical scientist
