We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a well-established, community-based cancer treatment facility located near Lexington, Kentucky. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals within a multispecialty group that is renowned for providing high-quality cancer care to the local community and is poised for growth and expansion.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of hematologic and oncologic conditions in adult patients.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.Perform and oversee chemotherapy treatments, ensuring patient safety and effective management of side effects.Utilize advanced technology and techniques such as CT Simulation, Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and Three-Dimensional Treatment Planning for comprehensive cancer care.Work closely with other specialists and allied healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care, including participation in case discussions and tumor board meetings.Maintain accurate, thorough patient records and ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical standards in all patient interactions and documentation.Facility Highlights:Treats over 1,000 new cancer patients annually in the Lexington area, providing a broad and diverse patient base.Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a highly trained support team to aid in comprehensive patient care.A strong referral network and support from a collaborative group of healthcare providers.Qualifications:MD or DO degree with a completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology.Valid Kentucky medical license or eligibility for licensure in Kentucky.Strong commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach to care.Benefits:Competitive compensation package with productivity incentives.Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and malpractice coverage.Generous CME allowance and opportunities for professional development.Support for work-life balance with a predictable schedule.Opportunities for career growth within an expanding, reputable healthcare group.
