Our Shared Services team is a dedicated group of software engineers, QA, Product, DevOps and Implementation Analysts that work in an agile environment. We are seeking an attentive, detail-oriented, self-motivated
QA Engineer
to join our energetic team! The QA Engineer will work closely with our development/QA team to triage and resolve issues and explore updates, modifications, and ideas. The ideal candidate should look for and drive best practices and tools to strive for continuous improvements within the team.
Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain
comprehensive test cases
for both
manual
and
automated
testing, covering all functionality, edge cases, and integration points • Lead the creation of detailed
test plans
and
test scripts , ensuring they align with project requirements and user stories • Execute
manual test cases
meticulously, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and regression testing • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather
requirements
and translate them into effective
manual and automated test cases • Ensure test cases cover
functional, regression, integration, performance, and automated testing
scenarios • Participate in continuous improvement of QA standards by developing
test case templates
and documentation for both manual and automated processes • Identify and prioritize
risk areas
and ensure test cases are focused on quality-focused objectives • Work closely with Development/QA team (in-house & offshore) to ensure thorough execution of both
manual and automated test cases
and resolve any issues • Responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing
performance tests
to ensure the system can handle expected load, stress, and scalability requirements while identifying any bottlenecks or areas for optimization.
Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience preferred • Minimum 5 years of Software QA experience, with a strong focus on
test case development
and
manual test execution • Experience in creating and executing detailed
manual and automated test cases
for complex systems • Experience with Linux command line, GitHub, PyCharm, Jenkins, Robot Framework, SauceLabs, Katalon, Apache JMeter, and open-source QA tools • Proficient in
test management tools
and
test case tracking
within CI/CD pipelines • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate
test case coverage ,
manual test results , and requirements • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve test case quality and coverage, and ensure smooth manual test case execution
Salary & Benefits
This position offers full-time benefits, including a comprehensive benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
