The registered nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individual and families within their homes and communities. You will complete an initial, comprehensive, and ongoing assessment of patient and family to determine hospice needs. You will complete, maintain, and submit accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patient's condition and care given.Travel throughout the day and sometimes after-hours You will participate in on-call duties as needed.This is not a complete list of all duties. Full job description can be supplied upon request. QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of nursing. One (1) to two (2) years of experience, preferred. One (1) year of hospice experience, preferredCurrent licensure in State and CPR certification.Associates degree required, bachelor's degree, preferred.Management experience not required.Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.Prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to lift, position and/or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies and equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping bending, kneeling and/or crouching. Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
