WHAT YOU'LL NEED:Technical Requirements and Certifications "
Relevant network certifications (such as CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
Education and Experience "
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in network management, with a proven track record in overseeing complex network infrastructures, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, wireless technology, network security, and cloud services.Leadership Skills:
Extensive experience in leading and developing a technical team, with strong interpersonal and management skills.Strategic Thinking:
Ability to align network strategies with business goals and adapt to evolving technological and business landscapes.Problem-Solving Skills:
Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting network issues.Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with various stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities "Key Competencies:
Strategic network planning and implementation.Leadership and team management.Strong technical knowledge in network infrastructure.Vendor and stakeholder management.Proactive problem-solving and analytical thinking.Adaptability to rapidly changing technology environments.Effective communication and collaboration.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Job Responsibilities:
Network Strategy and Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive network strategy that supports the organization's business objectives and technology roadmap.Network Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and other related systems.Security and Compliance:
Ensure network security protocols are in place, updated, and compliant with industry standards, including proactive measures to prevent network breaches.Project Management:
Lead network-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.Team Leadership and Development:
Manage and develop a team of network professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-oriented environment.Vendor Management:
Liaise with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring effective service delivery.Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and trends, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
