Inventory Supervisor

We have partnered with a cookie dough manufacturing company in their hiring efforts for an Inventory Supervisor in West Monroe, LA. Inventory Supervisor responsibilities: Manage inventory of ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods, ensuring compliance with FIFO and SQF requirements. Conduct regular cycle counts, verify incoming and outgoing shipments, and address discrepancies in inventory. Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Production, Supply Planning, Warehouse) to maintain workflow and accuracy. Track and document product damages and losses in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Oversee entry and exit transactions in WMS, including handling destruction and write-offs, and monitor job status. Ensure staff receive necessary training, conduct performance reviews, and support company policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Assist with fiscal audits, perform loss and waste analysis, and complete other assigned tasks. Qualifications Two years of related experience. Proven ability to manage and be accountable to performance metrics. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Office, PowerPoint, and Word; ERP system knowledge (NetSuite preferred). Demonstrated experience in boosting productivity and possessing strong leadership qualities. Capable of multitasking, making decisions in uncertain situations, and escalating issues when needed.
