Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Strategic Systems Support Element (SSSE), HQ's Element, Alexandria, Virginia. Responsibilities Support the G8 Requirements Manager, the principal advisor to the commander and senior management for all matters pertaining to requirements management. Serve as subject matter expert on internal and external requirements policies, processes, and procedures. Monitor and track requirements documentation actions. Manage requirements management/analysis data/database to maintain working and historical organizational materiel and non-materiel requirements. Define organizational requirements during the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) system phases, Program Objective Memorandum (POM). Solicit, analyze, document, and facilitate prioritization and validation of user needs. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one (1) year of experience at the GG-13 grade level, or equivalent, which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Experience with management policies and procedures to develop new methods, or proposals for new policies and criteria in response to policy requirements. (2) Interpret and apply a wide range of policies, regulations, and/or guidance associated with capability gaps and programs. (3) Represent the organization in meetings, venues, and studies to meet operational goals. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
