Job Summary / PurposeThe Project Manager Compensation supports CommonSpirit Health compensation and total rewards programs and initiatives from plan design through implementation and ongoing administration. This position drives the development and management of roadmaps, milestones, and coordination of new initiatives, continuously evaluating the effectiveness of our compensation programs to ensure they are aligned with our business and talent strategies. It focuses on data analytics and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of compensation processes and programs to identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations. This position also works closely with Compensation leaders and subject matter experts to develop and deploy implementation plans and other project tools to drive projects to completion. It will work collaboratively with Compensation leaders and with COEs, region teammates and other project managers, as needed in all aspects of the implementation process.

Essential Key Job ResponsibilitiesManages and coordinates key departmental projects and initiatives. Drives projects to completion and works closely with compensation leaders to remove roadblocks.Manages all aspects of projects from planning, design, implementation, communication and assessment/reporting.Leads process improvement activities and collaborates with subject matter expertise and stakeholders for best practices and outcomes.Ensures projects are aligned with compensation and total rewards roadmap. Evaluates project or program effectiveness and practices continuous improvement process methodology to collect and analyze metrics and improve processes.Fosters an environment of collaboration with a positive team culture. Encourages participation and is a supportive listener, while driving team work toward common goals.Ensures appropriate project governance is in place, e.g. project steering committee, change control, baseline managementIdentifies, assesses and manages project risk and issues. Works with compensation leadership to devise and implement effective strategies to mitigate or resolve issues.Plans and conducts regular team meetings; prepares (or oversees the preparation of) progress/status/problem resolution/change request and related material. Facilitates reviews and project updates.Ensures controls processes are in place to measure delivery productivity and achieve ROI.Serves as point-person for internal communications; communicates project milestones, completion dates, costs, risks, issues, contingencies and other significant matters to team and stakeholders.Coordinates and collaborates with other project managers and teams to ensure larger projects and initiatives meet their milestones to successful project completion.Leads test plan development and scenario identification as needed.Performs compensation analyst work as needed and during higher volume timeframes.Participates or leads committees to advance compensation projects and initiatives. Meets deadlines, prioritizes and has the flexibility to re-evaluate and reprioritize as needed.Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree or five (5) years of related job or industry experience in lieu of degree. Four (4) years of compensation, human resources, or finance experience. One (1) year experience in project management.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

Possess understanding of healthcare business and care delivery processes. Understand Compensation and Total Rewards and other HR FunctionsExcellent project management skills, ability to multitask, work independently, balance competing priorities and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate effectively to direct, influence and motivate management and project teams; maintaining a persuasive and credible presentation style at all levels of the organization.Strong analytical skills and process focus required. Strong technology skills in Google products, Excel and Project Management tools.Experience in presentation and education skills to include delivery and communications as well as technical software.
