We have partnered with Sondhi Solutions as our subcontractor for dental services. We are currently seeking a per-diem Dental Assistant for an opportunity at Edinburgh Correctional Facility located in Edinburgh, Indiana. Pay Rate $23/hour The Dental Assistant (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.Essential Duties:•Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments•Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory•Operating radiographic equipment•Administrative tasks as neededQualifications•High school diploma or GED equivalent required •Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required •Certification in Dental Radiology required •Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred •Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening•Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)•Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkPRN ShiftEmployees working 30+ hours per week have access to Sondhi Solutions benefits package, which includes:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insuranceRetirement plan with company contributionGenerous paid time off + paid holidaysEmployee Assistance program and moreCenturion is the provider of healthcare services for the Indiana DOC.
