WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a vital member of the Converse Finance team, you will report into the Manager of Finance Planning Global and engage regularly with Global Development, Global Marketplace, Product Merchandising and Corporate Finance teammates to collaborate on initiatives that maximize profitability and operational efficiency. You will also connect with our senior finance leaders, gaining exposure to various facets of the business and contributing to strategic decision-making.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Based out of the Global Headquarters in Downtown Boston, Converse is looking for an Analyst, Finance Planning Global to join our Global Product Margin Planning and Product Finance team. You will need to have with strong organizational skills, the ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks, the patience to work with ambiguous and conflicting data sources and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills that allow them to connect with a broad and diverse set of stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training

Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, and/or budgeting/forecasting

Consumer Products or Retail Industry experience is a plus

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)

Experience in data visualization software (e.g. Tableau/Power BI), Flex PLM & SAP is a plus

Desire to drive efficiency, process improvement, and to enhance understanding of business drivers

Proficient verbal & written communication skills; Interacts well with a diverse network of global business partners

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As an analyst on the Financial Planning team, you will be primarily focused on essential Finance Operations tasks as well as supporting critical go-to-market Product Margin Planning & Product Finance work. In this role, you will be responsible for data quality and integrity, supporting various projects, reporting to key stakeholders, as well as but not limited to, meeting crucial deadlines. You will also have responsibility for key ad hoc requests and deliverables to Converse/Nike Inc. and other internal stakeholders.

Finance Operations:

Own and manage standard costs, freight & duty within Flex PLM & SAP

Manage seasonal price lists and distribute to external licensees

Distribute product cost guidance to internal stakeholders monthly

Complete ad hoc product modification requests

Manage the monthly purchase order audit reporting process

Ensure adherence to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)

Margin Planning:

Lead the multi-seasonal margin review process by extracting data and completing margin roll-up report

Own the seasonal product margin target templates and lead margin target discussions with Development & Product Merchandising teams

Help to identify savings and pricing opportunities within the seasonal product line plan

Product Finance:

Support with ad hoc requests and deliverables to Converse/Nike Inc

Assist in extracting data for monthly reporting reviewed by senior leadership
