Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Description
Maintain, improve, and ensure all food safety measures are in place such as HACCP plan, Food Safety protocols and paperwork. Maintain all quality, regulatory, and food safety documentation per FDA regulations, FSSC requirements. Responsible for and to run all internal audits, external audits, prepare for audits, and have everything in compliance for any audits. Ensure quality is maintained throughout the entire production and manufacturing process including preventative action, RCA, CAPA's. Responsible for implementing guidelines, regulations, training staff on QA and QC functions. Report monthly KPI's to leadership and report to leadership quarterly on any changes, updates, requirements.
Responsibilities

Run all internal and external audits, prepare for audits, and ensure compliance.
Ensure quality is maintained throughout the entire production and manufacturing process including preventative action, RCA, CAPA's.
Implement guidelines, regulations, and train staff on QA and QC functions.
Report monthly KPI's to leadership and provide quarterly updates on changes, updates, and requirements.
Essential Skills
Experience in food quality management
Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards (FSSC, FDA)
Strong documentation and auditing skills
Ability to manage quality systems and regulatory documentation
Experience with HACCP, SQF, BRC, USDA, AIB
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of food regulations
Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
Ability to train staff on QA and QC functions
