Shift : Full-time, Monday-Friday
Job Location : Altamonte Springs, FL; Hybrid
The role you'll contribute:
* Responsible for all merchant services activities* Responsible for debt related tracking and reporting as well as coordinating debt payments* Coordinates required financial reporting to third parties* Establishes and maintains letters of credit with banks* Provides backup to other Treasury Department staff
The value that you bring to the team:
* Employee manages the merchant services process for the company
o Maintains the data base of individual merchant ID's
o Maintains repository of all merchant service agreements and monitors compliance with such agreements
o Processes requests for new merchant services
o Assists in development and ongoing performance of transaction volume and fee analytics
o Works with the AdventHealth Data Security staff to assure PCI compliance
o Works with requestors and data security to process exception request to the corporate merchant services policy
o Provides ongoing analysis of merchant services offerings and makes recommendations for process improvements and cost savings
o Maintains relationships with merchant services providers
* Employee is responsible for maintaining the debt tracking and reporting system. This includes:
o Assuring all bond debt is entered in to the system and system data is accurate and up to date
o Prepares monthly reports for accounting to use in bond accounting entries to facilities
o Enters interest rates for variable rate debt on interest rate reset dates
o Prepares and distributes the weekly report of variable rate debt interest rates
o Reconciles payment notices from banks and the bond trustee to internal calculations to confirm accuracy
o Assures that bond payments of principal and interest are made on a timely basis and accurate
o Assists with creation of debt related PowerPoint slides used for internal and external presentations
o Maintains cost of capital calculations on AdventHealth's debt portfolio
* Employee coordinates bank letters of credit* Works with banks to issue letters of credit as requested
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting required* Five years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications :
* Master's degree in business, finance or accounting preferred* Knowledge of treasury functions* MS office and other applications as needed* PeopleSoft experience highly preferred
