New Patient Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and professional New Patient Coordinator for our client, one of the largest healthcare providers in the Nation. This is a long-term opportunity where you will be the first point of contact for new patients, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and all necessary information for their appointments. This position becomes hybrid once training is completed.
Your responsibilities will include:
Answering and returning all new patient incoming calls in a professional manner.
Appropriately managing multiple incoming calls.
Entering all referral patients into our system.
Sending new patient welcome emails and required paperwork.
Collecting patient’s insurance information prior to their scheduled appointment.
Triaging calls from the work queue.
Providing instructions to patients to ensure they are prepared for examinations and procedures.
Confirming patient appointments.
Resolving scheduling conflicts as they occur.
Skills + Qualifications:
Experience with Epic preferred.
2+ years of Scheduling Experience preferred.
Proficient in scheduling and tracking patient information.
Comfortable taking phone calls and managing multiple lines.
