We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior Financial Analyst, supporting the Abiomed Financial Systems & Reporting team. This position will be based in Danvers, MA and New Brunswick, NJ. It will report directly to the Manager, Financial Systems & Reporting in Abiomed.

Responsibilities:
Support intake, prioritization and execution of system change requests
Support implementation of SigniFi for Abiomed
Maintenance of master data across the Abiomed financial systems.
Implement and execute controls to ensure integrity of financial data.
Documentation of processes, develop end user training, identify and build standard financial reports.
Promote usage of implemented tools and proactively identify system solutions to standardize and streamline business processes (ad-hoc reports, automation, etc.).
Identify and analyze data quality issues in financial systems and help drive the resolution of the inconsistencies.
Assist with driving continuous improvement and standardization across Abiomed Finance.
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, MIS, or Data Science.
Minimum of 3 years of finance, accounting, IT, or related business experience.
Knowledge and experience working with SAP is desired, not required.
Strong accounting/finance background and have a technical mindset, with experience in financial systems.
Strong analytical, problem solving and team building skills.
Attention to details, ability to prioritize & plan multiple tasks effectively, initiative to follow through on directives, self-motivated, adaptable to change, intellectual curiosity and keen to grow.
Continuous learning mindset and passion for finance technology, data analysis, complex data mapping, and data reconciliation.
Ability to improve business processes while working creatively and innovatively in a dynamic, team environment.
Ability to build strong relationships with business partners.
Highly motivated, committed, effective and supportive team member.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,000 to $121,900.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
