Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst to be a key member in our AWS Sales & Marketing FP&A team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our fastest growing business division within Amazon. As a Finance Manager, you will work closely with finance leaders to develop financial models and analytical insights to assist in evaluating new business concepts, turning insights into operational measurements, and identifying paths to improve overall planning and forecasting process.
Key job responsibilities
You will be the single threaded finance owner for the top-line performance for AWS. Primary responsibilities include:
• Develop revenue forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Create, improve, and maintain financial metrics, reports and scorecards used for consolidation reports.
• Collect, analyze and manage quantitative data to create meaningful analyses and models that drive business decisions.
• Lead processes to facilitate consolidation process and reports.
• Partner with finance technology and BI team to streamline reporting infrastructure and automation
• Lead month end close deep dives and consolidation
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of Tableau
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
