Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed starting as soon as credentialed near Elizabeth City, NC. Target Start: ASAP Length of Assignment: 6-12 months Minimum # of shifts per Month Acceptable: 5 Physician Shift Times: Three 12 hour shifts (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a) NP/PA Shift Times: 32.5 hours APP coverage per day (6:30a-4:30p, 10a-10p, 4:30p-3a) Annual Volume: 46,000 Patients per Day: 124 % Admitted Patients: 13% Certification Requirements: ABEM / AOBEM board eligible up to 5 years post grad. Alternative boards not accepted Residency Trained Requirements: Must be a graduate of an ACGME accredited program ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BALS Required? Board certified docs don t need an ACLS but must have NIHSS. Sedation (Moderate and Deep) require a test Scribe Coverage: No EMR System: Epic Active NC License Required, or at least already in process.
