Company Overview:Our client, a renowned 5-star resort and casino in Las Vegas, NV, is expanding its digital team and looking for a technical Business Analyst/Data Analyst to work closely with the Product Manager on digital analytics initiatives. This role requires translating complex business needs into technical requirements and leveraging data insights to drive strategic decisions.
As a Business Analyst/Data Analyst in Digital Analytics, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring data-driven insights support product and marketing strategies. This role involves deep technical expertise in data visualization tools like Snowflake, PowerBI, and Tableau, as well as the ability to analyze and communicate data trends effectively.
Key ResponsibilitiesRequirement Gathering & Translation:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into detailed technical requirements, aligning with the digital marketing analytics roadmap.Data Analysis & Visualization:
Utilize tools such as Snowflake, PowerBI, and Tableau to create dashboards and reports that drive strategic business insights, focusing on key metrics like user engagement, campaign effectiveness, and overall product performance.Support Product Strategy:
Work closely with the Product Manager to analyze fluctuations in data, identify trends, and recommend actions that align with strategic goals.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Engage with product management, marketing, IT, and business intelligence teams to define KPIs, develop reporting frameworks, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.Data Tool Management:
Assist in the maintenance and management of data tools, working with IT and external vendors to ensure the security, accuracy, and performance of analytics systems.Documentation & Communication:
Prepare comprehensive documentation and communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and strategies.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
3-5+ years in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role within digital or data analytics, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and reporting.Technical Proficiency:
Strong expertise in data visualization platforms, including Snowflake, PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL querying.Analytical Insight:
Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business strategies.Communication Skills:
Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and effectively communicate insights to diverse teams.Industry Knowledge:
Experience in hospitality, gaming, or digital marketing analytics is preferred.Location Requirement:
Must be based in Las Vegas, NV, with hybrid work availability.
