Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Supply Chain to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to support the Supply Chain Automation strategy, one of the largest transformational programs Walmart and the industry have seen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, program management, and strategic direction, with excellent persuasive and influential skills.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?

Communication: Effectively communicate operational expectations to suppliers and transporters, address performance-related issues with stakeholders, and influence them to achieve alignment and support for strategic initiatives.

Program Management: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of key supply chain programs, manage project timelines and resources, and ensure successful program execution and continuous improvement.

Process Improvement: Champion innovation to simplify current solutions, manage error correction processes, identify opportunities to improve service levels and reduce process waste, and support lean concepts.

External Partnerships: Serve as the main point of contact for external partners, communicate expectations and agreements, lead audit processes, and assist senior leadership with the selection of service providers.

Strategic Direction: Analyze business objectives and customer needs, develop and implement business strategies, incorporate costs and forecasts, evaluate operational processes, and identify improvement opportunities.

Workforce Development: Diagnose capability gaps, recruit and develop talent, support mentorship and succession planning, and leverage the capabilities of new and existing team members.

Integrity and Ethics: Cultivate an environment of integrity and ethical practices, develop consequences for violations, and support the Open Door Policy.

Community and Partnerships: Develop and leverage internal and external partnerships, lead community outreach initiatives, and engage stakeholders in business plan development and execution.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 5 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related

area OR 7 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.

3 years' experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.

2 years' supervisory experience.
