AIU– Graduate Nurse –Full-Time-Day Shift- 7am – 7pm Various– Req 8043

A graduate nurse provides supervised patient care in the Medical Surgical Department delivers specialized, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in an acute care setting. Effectively communicates with patients, patient’s families, and other patient care team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Establishes priorities for nursing action according to patient’s needs and formulates appropriate care. Performs continuous assessments and revises care plans based upon patient’s condition.
Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing. Submittal of application for Licensure and Limited Permit. Paid required fees. Valid New York State RN License within one year of receiving limited permit. BLS certification
