We are searching for a competent and experienced Supply Chain Manager (SCM) to join our team.In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Supply Chain, focusing on continuously improving on-time delivery, cost, and supplier quality. The Supply Chain manager should also possess leadership skills in order to lead the purchasing, warehouse, planning, and supplier quality team.
Compensation: $120,000 - $165,000 / year, based on experience and qualifications
Company Benefits include:Health Insurance through CignaDental and Vision InsuranceEmployer paid Long Term Disability InsuranceEmployer paid Life Insurance with option for additional Voluntary Life Insurance401(k) Retirement planSafety shoe allowance3-weeks PTO, accrual starting on day one8 paid holidays plus paid Birthday holidayParental LeaveCompany Perks include:Quarterly company lunchesAnnual company picnic for employees and their familiesFun Department activitiesCompany Happy Hours and other fun events throughout the yearCasual dress codeEmployee Referral ProgramVolunteer opportunitiesTuition ReimbursementJob Responsibilities:The SCM will manage the Purchasing, Warehousing/Logistics, Planning, and Supplier Quality teams and partner with Engineering, and Operations leaders to develop and maintain a Supply Chain Strategy that will contribute to the overall organization's efficiency, reliability, and profitabilityDevelops and implements plans for managing supply chain processes for production and operationsSpearhead alternative sourcing opportunities with the support of the Engineering team in order to reduce overall material costsOwns material costs and final review of estimating processMonitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departmentsWorks with Sales and Marketing teams to oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement to satisfy resource requirementsOversees S&OP process in order to communicate with executives regarding business needs to secure resources needed to satisfy customer demands and ensure delivery and/or implementationInitiates continuous and effective communication with all levels, inside and outside of the organization on activities that may impact the jobs and their progressActs as part of the Change Control team to review engineering changes and manufacturing changes to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitionsImplement, refine, and track supply chain KPIs in order to reduce Total Supply Chain Costs, increase inventory turns, and improve profitabilityManage import costs across the supply chain to mitigate the impact of tariffs and ensure regulatory complianceIdentify alternative suppliers to decrease BOM and tariff costs throughout the supply chainManage regional value content designations for all productsNegotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, while administering Supply and Quality Agreements and Contracts for high volumes or Strategic SuppliersTravel up to 10% of the timePreferred Qualifications:Experience working with ERP software (Global Shop or something similar).Experience with ODBC, PowerBI, or TableauExperience in supplier management for a manufacturing company (Automotive is a plus)Bachelor's degree in EngineeringAPICS or ISM certificationExperience in IATFExperience with purchasing and logistics in a complex value chainExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, shippers, and customersStrong supervisory and leadership skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailThorough understanding of company products and logisticsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsRequired Qualifications:5 years minimum experience in a Supply Chain Management position.5 years experience in negotiating supplier contracts.Strong Microsoft Excel skillsReferences from previous employers.Pre-employment drug test (for illegal substances in the state of CO), background check, and employment verification through E-Verify will be performed.Location: Thornton, Colorado
