Job Summary:
The role operates out of the Global Quality Management Office (GQ QMO) and is responsible for development of the product security management system including processes and procedures. Initiation and leadership of continual improvement projects to improve performance and optimization of the system and its processes. Perform the product security manager role for new product development projects to drive Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) requirements and work products. Ensure the establishment and improvement of product security controls within Operations. The is a key liaison and supporting role to the core Product Security Team (PST) which has overall ownership of product security governance and product improvement within Micron.
Job Responsibilities:Deploy and improve the product security management system (PSMS) in conjunction with key functions such as the Product Security Team, business units and product development teams.Integrate and leverage other management system processes (e.g. quality management systems, information technology cybersecurity management systems, etc.) to ensure management system effectiveness and efficiency.Directly support process integration efforts to achieve network and supply chain security certifications (e.g. TISAX, ISO 27001, CMMC).Perform the product security manager role for new product development projects to drive Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) requirements and work products.Define, plan and lead the execution of improvement projects as needed in order to support performance objectives (customer satisfaction, risk reduction, standards compliance, etc.)Support the analysis and compliance of prioritized national and international standards in support of a continual improvement roadmap.Define and support the improvement of business processes to ensure cross functional interactions are operating smoothly and that processes are delivering value to stakeholders. Establish process and system metrics for gauging and improving performance.Lead or support as needed the determination and improvement of policies and procedures (secure development lifecycle, manuals, instructions, work product templates, checklists, etc.)Lead the definition of manufacturing and supply chain product security controls within both Micron and suppliers and ensure these are fully described within Control Plans. Support the performance of cross functional risk analysis to prioritize improvements to those Control Plans.Support problem solving core teams as needed in the temporary role capacity of incident coordinator or facilitator, applying Micron's problem solving process, to ensure collaboration with cross-functional subject matter experts in response to product security incidents.Establish excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication by serving as a primary GQ liaison with other department entities:Product Security Team (PST) within the Technology and Products Group (TPG) which owns Micron's product security overall programBusiness Unit industry or segment customer requirements, standards, and product architecture functionsProduct development engineering teams
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$112,500.00 - $238,500.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
