DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Evaluate, handle and adjust automobile claims to include physical damage, rental, and diminished value claims.Determine proper policy coverages and investigate, evaluate, negotiate and equitably settle all assigned claims cases in accordance with company guidelines.Establish and authorize reserves and claims payments and monitor reserves through the life of the file.Expected to conduct an advanced level of settlement negotiations with claimants, repair facilities, attorneys, policy holders, and all other relevant parties.The employee will be expected to provide quality results while handling numerous claims with an above average complexity and to maintain a healthy diary system.Adhere to high standards of professional conduct while providing the delivery of superior claims service.Will be expected to multitask and address unexpected situations while showing the flexibility to do so.Must be self-motivated with initiative and ability to make decisions, be dependable, resourceful and a problem solver.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Requires4 year college degree preferred; or2 years of college and 3 years Auto Physical Damage estimate experience preferred; orFive years of Auto Physical Damage estimating experienceAIC, CPCU or other insurance certification and continuing education preferred.
Must have a valid Georgia Driver's License.Knowledge of CCC, Mitchell, Autoverse, or similar estimating systems is a plus.Must be able to read, analyze and interpret procedures, regulations, instructions, manuals and other documents as required. Excellent telephone, public relations and oral/written communication skills areMust be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduleMust possess basic skills and be proficient or have demonstrated aptitude with computers including experience with Excel, Word, and web-based
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to travel moderate distances in a car with frequent stops, to walk in sometimes hard to traverse locations, to sit, to handle controls and to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, lift and move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision requirements by this job include close vision. Must maintain Valid Georgia Drivers License.
