The Director, Corporate Partnerships will be responsible for securing corporate partnerships for the organization. The primary goal will be to generate revenue while aligning with the company's objectives and enhancing its brand visibility. The Director will collaborate with internal teams to create compelling sponsorship proposals, negotiate contracts, and build strong, sustainable relationships with corporate partners.

This position requires a creative, motivated, self-starter who is a competitive, energetic, and dedicated professional with proven sales skills and possesses the independent judgement needed to plan, prioritize, and complete a diverse workload. The candidate selected into this role will have a proven track record as a revenue generator as well as knowledge of the corporate partnership industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Contributes to the team effort by:

Achieve annual business results and individual revenue goals tied to overall sales strategy.

Collaborate with teams across the organization including, but not limited to, Partnership Marketing, Marketing, Creative, Content, Community Impact, Strategy and Business Intelligence, to ensure successful ideation, partnership activation and execution.

Conduct market research to identify potential sponsors and assess industry trends.

Customize proposals based on the needs and objectives of potential sponsors.

Build relationships with new prospects to drive corporate partnership revenue initiatives and exceed sales goals.

Proactively reach out to potential sponsors through cold calling, networking, and other sales techniques.

Develop fully integrated sales proposals to include IP rights, media, activations, promotions, signage, community and hospitality assets.

Conduct presentations and meetings to pitch sponsorship opportunities.

Provide weekly sales reports, updates and prospecting data.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual agreements, and close partnerships.

Execute team gameday hosting of current corporate partners and key prospects.

Performing other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum 7+ years of consultative sales experience, preferably sports sponsorships with a new venue or major renovation.

Demonstrated success in sales.

Ability to work all Broncos home games, nights/weekends and keep a flexible schedule.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint

Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, KORE, Tableau and other strategic platforms

Demonstrate a clear understanding of the corporate partnership sales process – including but not limited to prospecting, needs analysis, proposal development and creation, sales pitches, negotiation, and contracting

Strong business acumen, forecasting skills, influencing skills and interpersonal skills

Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen, creativity, and relationship building

Self-motivated and solutions oriented while also participating as a team player among the department

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task

Willingness to learn, create, and have a desire to succeed

Detail oriented with strong prioritization and organization skills

Professional demeanor

Demonstrated success with sports industry corporate partnerships

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $130,000 - $150,000. This position will be required to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays outside of a normal working hours as needed.

This position will be located at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, CO.
