Job Summary:
The Manager, Business strategy and operations role will work with cross-functional stakeholders to bring in operational rigor for Marketplace Seller fulfilled business. This role is responsible for leading key strategic initiatives across Marketplace org that drive business growth along with operational efficiency.About the Team:
The Walmart US eCommerce Marketplace team builds products that connects sellers across the world to buyers shopping our marketplaces, enabling access to our customers to over 350M+ items, and growing selection. For our sellers to succeed, we must empower them with tools that unlock their full potential and help them deliver delight to our customers. In this role, you will collaborate across Strategy, Product, Engineering, and other internal partners to manage and enhance the performance of sellers on our Marketplace Seller Fulfilled shipping platform. In short, you will be a single threaded leader responsible for ensuring that when sellers use our shipping tools, they succeed. You will apply a general management perspective and a data driven problem-solving approach, will be agile and able to apply the right frameworks, operating cadence, and business analysis & acumen to the business roadmap. As such, you will be able to identify key risks, dependencies, and work with the requisite teams to put solutions in place that will achieve the product outcomes. You’ll apply your business acumen and analytical mindset to separate signal from noise and provide sellers a dependable solution enabling them to win on our platform. This person will be skilled at engaging and communicating to senior executives across multiple domains, as well as engaging at a detailed level across program management, operations, and product.What You’ll do:Lead business operations and strategy for Marketplace seller fulfilled team by bringing in operational rigor to ensure our business (and associated key KPIs) are moving in the right direction, as well as work cross-functionally with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.Assist in building and executing on annual planning process & partner as well as lead on cross-functional business initiatives.Help establish the right processes and tools to elevate the conversations/dialogues around seller fulfilled business.What you’ll bring:Builder Mindset, Driving end to end ownership – Drive end-end ownership for system solutions for new and existing features working with relevant cross-functional groups including product and engineering teams. Ensure critical business issues and product strategies are addressed in product decisions; drive process changes based on feedback; drive resource allocation decisions; close performance gaps.Creating business strategies – Develop roadmap for key business initiatives and advocate for solutions allowing sellers optimize delivery and post purchase experience on Walmart; determine metrics and KPIs that best track performance.Working cross-functionally and across multiple geos – Communication, collaboration, and organization are key to your success. Work with cross-functional teams to translate product strategy into a product roadmap and engineering sprints.Moving fast – Work in an agile and iterative team environment.Preferred Qualifications:You can provide minimal additions to the Preferred Qualifications that are present on the role’s Job Description. Any additions should be specific and concrete (for example, 6 years of experience gathering business requirements, site assessments, competitive analysis, and secondary research.)Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management or related area OR 4 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$169,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.Primary Location:
