Sr Solution Architect of Data Technology

to join the Digital Transformation (DX) group based in Culver City, CA. The DX group drives the delivery of impactful program solutions globally across Sony Group Companies. Our aim is to accelerate business growth by connecting strategic initiatives with human expertise, creativity, and collaboration. This position is a hybrid role requiring 2 days on-site in the Culver City Office. Responsibilities Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with data business leadership to understand business goals and objectives. Develop comprehensive data-driven business and technology roadmaps aligned with the organization's strategy. Conduct technology assessments and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Solution Design:

Design and architect scalable and flexible marketing technology solutions. Select and integrate appropriate tools and platforms to meet specific marketing needs. Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation.

Implementation:

Oversee the implementation of marketing technology solutions, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Collaborate with development teams and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Provide technical guidance and support during implementation.

Data Management:

Develop data governance strategies to ensure data quality and integrity. Design data architecture and workflows to support marketing analytics and reporting. Implement data integration and synchronization processes.

Optimization and Maintenance:

Continuously monitor and optimize marketing technology performance. Identify and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks. Stay up to date with emerging marketing technology trends and best practices.

Team Leadership:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful marketing initiatives. Act as a liaison between Sony Group Company representatives and the DX group, communicating appropriately and effectively with co-workers, clients, and supervisors, while maintaining awareness of project status and any potential delays or concerns.

Customer Engagement:

Drive conversations with customers to demonstrate alignment between customer objectives and our product. Synthesize customer feedback into product development insights and address unmet customer needs. Collaborate with our Business Promotion team to understand and address customer pain points.

Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in marketing technology or a related field. Strong understanding of marketing concepts and strategies. In-depth knowledge of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, content management systems, and analytics tools. Proficiency in data management and integration techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional/Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field of study. Certifications in marketing technology and data architecture such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Snowflake, certified data architect. Experience with cloud-based marketing technology solutions. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with applying data science and machine learning concepts to businesses and daily operations or risk detection engineering. Experience in synthesizing complex or diverse project data and information. The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
