Job Description:
Typical Day in the RolePurpose of the Team:
The purpose of this team is to assist partners across MS in creating machine learning models, particularly for the new Copilot initiative. They are working on developing automated solutions to enable partners to create these models independently. Until these solutions are fully operational, the team requires a DevOps person to manually create the models, which is a time-consuming task.
Key projects:
This role will contribute on helping partners across MS create new Copilot models. This involves both manual creation of models and developing automated solutions for partners to create models independently. Working on creating automated solutions to streamline the process of model creation, aiming to reduce the need for manual intervention. These projects are crucial for supporting the Copilot initiative and enhancing the efficiency of model creation for MS's partners.
Candidate Requirements
Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.Degrees or certifications required: A bachelor's degree is required to be eligible for this role.Disqualifiers: Candidates need to be proactive and communicative, especially in reaching out to partners and understanding their issues during model creation. Candidates must have experience in C#, .NET, Azure, and React JS. Those with less experience in these areas will not be shortlisted.Best vs. Average; Strong proactivity and communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with partners and team members. Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on ability to work fast paced environment and quality of work.Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience1. Minimum 5+ years experience with C# and .NET2. Minimum 5+ years experience with React JS3. Minimum 5+ years experience with Azure

The main function of a software engineer is to help with the manual devops for fine-tuned models. To be specific, we need a vendor to help white-gloved deployments for BizChat and Tenant Copilot fine-tuned Large Language Models.Job Responsibilities:
Work as part of a project team to coordinate LLM FT DeploymentsReview project requests describing user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage one's time.Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.Knowledge of computer hardware and software.Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as C#, SQL, Visual Basic, etc.Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.5-7 years experience required.
