Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to support our internal development team on active C# applications. The role involves working on stability projects to enhance performance and reliability, allowing internal developers to focus on integration projects. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in .NET and C# development, secure coding practices, and the Azure cloud ecosystem, with additional experience in the .NET Framework.
Key Responsibilities
•Augment Internal Team
•Support the internal team by addressing backlog User Stories and resolving bugs in Sprints.
•Conduct thorough testing and validation of completed code.
•Participate in code reviews and collaborate in the pull request release process.
•Obtain SE manager approval before releases.
•Work on Stability Projects
•Assist in upgrading .NET applications from version 6 to 8, ensuring compatibility with the existing codebase.
•Update and manage dependencies, including NuGet packages, for both .NET and .NET Framework.
•Lead initiatives to enhance application security and reduce help desk support needs.
•Updated, patched, and secured C# codebase.
•Comprehensive test reports confirming functionality and security of User Story completion.
•Assistance to the internal software engineering team for production releases.
Required Qualifications
•Minimum of 5 years of experience as a .NET Web Developer.
•Proficiency in C# as the primary programming language.
•Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
•Extensive experience with .NET and .NET Framework.
•Expertise in managing and upgrading NuGet packages.
•Experience with Azure Functions and Web Apps, including transitioning from in-process to isolated worker models.
•Proven experience in secure coding practices and implementing authentication models for web applications.
Preferred Qualifications
•A proactive approach to problem-solving with an emphasis on security-first design.
•Demonstrated ability to navigate complex issues and systems.
•Strong collaboration skills and an ability to support cross-functional initiatives.
•Proficiency in debugging and resolving errors within complex, interdependent systems.
