Job DescriptionPatten Title Company is a well-established title company with offices in Austin, Houston and Las Colinas. We are currently looking for an Escrow Assistant with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of title company experience. Duties will include the following but not limited to:
Assisting with the Escrow Closing team to ensure successful transactions.Collaborate with title department to resolve title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, list pendants, etc.Secure lender, seller and/or broker approval of loan closing documents.Ensure all payoffs, taxes, and HOA are updated and collected.Address any and all inquiries from clients, sellers, buyers, agents, and Asset Management Companies professionally and in a timely manner.Conduct closings with various customers: realtors, lenders, investors Confirm closing dates, location, documentation, and funds due at closing with borrowers.Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.Perform all other duties as assigned.Requirements
