Quality Systems ManagerThe Quality Systems Manager will ensure proper implementation and management of their QMS programs and will partner cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business. This role is responsible for the review and trending of CAPA program, complaint management program, investigations, internal audits, and training program. The role will also ensure accurate reporting of quality metrics and supplier scorecards.Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:Ensure the overall implementation and compliance of their programs (VIVA Quality 1)Develop / update documentation to support the QMS program and new processes as neededReview and trend CAPAs, complaints, investigations, and other key quality metrics to drive continuous improvementManage training program and ensure training records on file are current and completeParticipate in internal audits and support completion of related CAPAs as necessaryOversee implementation and usage of electronic Quality Management SystemWorks closely with Product Development and Supply Chain to support successful commercializationSupport the department and our Health & Wellbeing QA-RA with other projects as requiredJob Requirements
Qualifications:Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field required8+ years of relevant FSQA experience in the food / supplement industry requiredStrong understanding of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and FSMA requiredStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsStrong attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsWorking knowledge in conducting quality system audits and supplier qualification program
