This position may be performed remotely with travel to the Boston area as needed.The OpportunityPraxis is looking for an innovative and driven individual to provide strategic input to shape access strategy for the company’s portfolio of discovery and development programs. You will leverage your understanding of commercial strategy to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to inform development efforts and key decision making from early-stage development through to launch.Primary ResponsibilitiesWork with program teams to support commercial alignment ahead of commercializationSupport the business development team on opportunity assessment and evaluationBuild an aligned commercial strategic plan and execute on tacticsWork closely with key internal resources to generate insights that inform development and commercializationMonitor current and future competitive landscape; share key insights with Praxis team to inform development planning and launch strategySupport development of strategic external relationships in the KOL community to inform and strengthen product value proposition and Praxis corporate objectiveQualifications and Key Success FactorsBachelors' degree in life sciences or commensurate experience; neurology therapeutic area experience is highly desirable5-7 years of experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical marketing or commercial planning roleUnderstanding of drug development process with demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with R&D organizationProven track record of cross-functional collaboration; experience building trust across a diverse group of stakeholders, and building a winning cultureSelf-starter who works successfully in a fast paced, start-up environmentAbility to identify a path forward in ambiguous situations as well as to gain consensus amongst stakeholders with differing perspectivesDomestic and international travel as required (in line with local COVID-19 guidelines)At Praxis, we’re proud to offer an exceptional benefits package that includes:99% premium cost covered for medical (Blue Cross Blue Shield), dental, and vision plansBonus program structured to pay on a quarterly basis401k plan with 100% match up to 6% of employee’s contribution (Traditional & Roth)Wellness benefit of $200/month towards incredibly flexible options including travel, fitness equipment & memberships, student loan repayment, sports fees and much moreUnlimited PTO, (2) weeklong shutdowns each year, and a generous extended family leave benefitEligibility for equity awards and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (15% discount)Company OverviewPraxis Precision Medicines is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company translating genetic insights into the development of therapies for central nervous system disorders characterized by neuronal imbalance.
