Job Description:
The Director, Sales Technology Strategy & Planning will drive the strategy for and initiative roadmap for change in capabilities being enabled through technology and automation to improve overall lead generation, sales, relationship deepening and retention in support of Global Markets business priorities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about and experienced in technology innovation, improving sales processes, optimizing salesforce productivity, and developing collaborative relationships with sales leadership and our technology partners to improve the operations that fuel PayPal’s growth.
Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to sales and revenue operations leadership on sales processes and systems, becoming the primary liaison to the technology organization.
Seek proactive collaboration within the Revenue Operations teams and across sales leadership and stakeholder organizations to understand their objectives, needs, and pain points to inform the roadmap for sales technology and automation improvements.
Alongside our technology partners, craft the Sales Process, Technology and Automation roadmap, integrating best in class innovations and industry best practices while rationalizing the existing tech stack.
In partnership with a RevOps Program Management Office, develop intake and execution processes that proactively and regularly review the initiative portfolio and its backlog to ensure focus on highest business value.
Author business cases, in partnership with business and operations leaders, to ensure adequate resourcing and prioritization, negotiating with business partners for funding and support.
Ensure impact and KPI measurements are well documented and monitored to prove benefit realization.
Qualifications
10+ years in a sales operations, sales technology, or business planning role.
Deep technical acumen, with a perspective on best in class sales technology.
Proven track record in successfully growing and scaling sales processes through technology and automation.
Strong understanding of CRM Systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation tools.
A team player with the ability to quickly build trusted relationships with your team and cross-functional partners.
A strong project manager with excellent time management skills.
Experienced at successfully managing analytically rigorous company initiatives.
A self-starter with great instincts and the ability to discern upcoming needs.
Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and solve problems with a solution-oriented mindset.
Passionate about learning and always seeking opportunities to expand your knowledge.
PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual Compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to work location, and relevant skills and experience. The total compensation for this practice may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable), equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $118700 to $246290.
For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace.
